It is the 11th hour, 11th day and the 11th month - Remembrance Day. We remember the brave souls who gave their lives to the nation.
This year as ever, it is important to ensure that no-one is forgotten and to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
Though they don’t live to tell their story, we must let future generations know of the bravery they showed.
It is important to pause to reflect on the battles they fought and give thanks for the sacrifices they made. I know so many in Norwich will be doing so today and this weekend, finding this tradition important and sobering.
I’d also like to thank all those who volunteer for the Royal British Legion and other related charities.
