Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 30 September 2015 16:59

On Friday 25th September 2014, Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, joined thousands of others up and down the country by visiting a local coffee morning held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.

Chloe visited the coffee morning held at the Silver Road Community Centre, and joined others who were enjoying tea and cake in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.

Chloe visits Macmillan Coffee Mornings every year, and in previous years has hosted a coffee morning herself at her office for local businesses.

Chloe comments: “Visiting a coffee morning is a really friendly, and easy way for people to take part in coming together to support a  thoroughly worthwhile cause. Cancer is something that affects nearly every family, and taking part or even hosting a coffee morning can bring people together to share inspiring stories and support one another, as well as remember the reality of why these events are so important.”
