Chloe Smith on Apprenticeships Norfolk

As part of the launch event of Apprenticeships Norfolk, at the Forum today, Chloe Smith said:

"Apprenticeships are a win-win for local employers and local young people. I work closely with everyone here today because I am passionate about bringing young people and employers together. It is great news for Norwich and Norfolk that the county council and its partners are funding more opportunities to help young people earn and learn."



Chloe, who was the youngest MP and is the youngest minister, has worked for young people and employers since she was first elected by:

- Creating a Next Generation forum where young people and employers could meet

- Surveying young people's needs and aspirations

- Meeting local firms every week to discuss opportunities and barriers to growth

   and more

She began her political interest in Norfolk at the age of 16 by setting up a county youth forum.
