It was a pleasure to take part in a ceremony on Saturday, with Cllr John Fisher, Mayor of Thorpe St Andrew, where we planted 5 trees as part on the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy Project.
I am one of over 500 other MPs who are supporting The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC), a network of preservation initiatives marking Her Majesty’s lifetime of service to the Commonwealth.
I nominated Thorpe St Andrew Town Council to receive their QCC tress, which were planted by their playing field.
