Reporting back: Long Term Funding for the NHS

Earlier this week, I shared with you a video of the Prime Minister announcing plans to invest more money in the NHS. I have now received a letter from Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, which provides more information about the Government’s Long-Term Funding Plan for the NHS. The plan includes details about how there will be an average annual growth of 3.4% in real terms over the next 5 years, which is significantly higher than the 2% that Labour outlined for their plans in their manifesto. When I receive further updates on this topic, I will let you know.
