Chloe SmithMP for Norwich North
Chloe Smith2016 has been an eventful year for the country and the world, and as we approach Christmas I wish everyone a peaceful break and a prosperous 2017.
I'm looking forward to my first Christmas as a family. My husband Sandy and I are really enjoying the arrival of our baby son Alastair and have been touched by all of the kind words we have received since his birth in September. I want to take this opportunity to thank constituents for their support whilst I am on Maternity Leave.
Whilst I am on Maternity Leave, I've made sure that constituents can still get any help needed in my absence on leave, through my constituency office on 01603 414756 or chloe@chloesmith.org.uk. My staff are holding constituency surgeries on my behalf in the usual way with the support of my experienced neighbouring MP Keith Simpson who is able to raise specific matters for Norwich North needing urgent attention in Parliament.
When I return in March, I am looking forward to continuing working hard for the residents of Norwich North both locally and in Westminster. I'll be writing to you again regularly then with news of the work I have carried out on constituents' behalf and as ever, I am keen to hear from you about the issues that matter to you.
So, to everyone: a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
