Chloe Smith Visits Britvic factory Carrow Works

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, will on Friday 9th March, be visiting Britvic Factory Carrow Works.

 

Britvic is the number two drinks producer in the UK supporting over 14,000 jobs directly and through its supply chain, and is a major employer in Norwich as well as a key provider of apprenticeship opportunities.

 

Chloe will be receiving a tour of the factory in operation, and will be meeting with employees at the factory to discuss how important it is to have local businesses investing in local employment.

 

Chloe comments “This is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes to see how local businesses like Britvic operate and the benefits this brings to the local economy. As the founder and chair of the Norwich For Jobs Project, I am also keen to understand first-hand from the apprentices at Britvic how crucial apprenticeships schemes are as an opportunity for individuals to develop the skills needed for the workplace”.
