Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 05 February 2016 16:07

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North on Friday 5th February 2016 took part in a question and answer session with Sixth Form Politics students from Thorpe St. Andrew High School.

Chloe answered questions on a range of issues that mattered most to the students including discussion on Mental Health, voter age, the EU Referendum and Tampon Tax.

Chloe commented: “I always enjoy and find time to meet with high school and sixth form students to talk to them about the issues that matter most to them and to answer any questions they might have. An MP is here to serve everyone, of every age.

I work cross-party to encourage young people to be interested in politics. I urge first time voters to get registered now to be involved in council elections and the forthcoming EU referendum. I also welcome students from north Norwich to do work experience with me in Norwich or in Parliament, so get in touch."

Chloe’s visit to Thorpe St. Andrew High School follows a visit from pupils from Thorpe St Andrew High School to Westminster earlier in January.
