Chloe Smith congratulates local schools on results day

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, has congratulated local schools and colleges on results day.  Commenting after people started to collect their results, Chloe said, “I congratulate everyone picking up their results today, whether that's in academic or technical subjects.  I know how much hard work has gone into these exams from students, but also their teachers and families.  There are good results in Norwich North schools.   

"I also welcome the record university application rates including from disadvantaged students, because nothing should hold back a bright student who can succeed.  I'm working with teachers and others in Norwich to improve the life chances of the poorest young people in our city, and educational choices really matter”.
