Each and every day an average of 70 people will receive the lifesaving support of an air ambulance. The 37 aircraft work with 11 ambulance services and over a hundred hospitals across Great Britain.

The APPG on Air Ambulances is a cross-party group of MPs who work to increase the profile of air ambulances in Parliament, and ensure they get the backing they need to fulfil their vital role. Chloe chairs the group, as the EAAA have their headquarters in Norwich North.

Commenting on the meeting Chloe said:

“I am a big supporter of the work of air ambulances, both in East Anglia and nationally. This briefing is about laying out the plans for the group over the year ahead and how best to support the pilots, medical staff and crew who any one of us may one day rely upon to save our lives.

“Having worked closely with the Association of Air Ambulances, I know that more needs to be done to increase the number of landing sites, deal with aviation issues and ensure appropriate funding. By bringing together MPs from all parties we can work towards progress on each of these over the coming year.”
