Assaults on emergency workers Bill

I have been contacted by some constituents regarding the passage of the Second Reading of the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Bill.

 

I have sent a letter to the Secretary of State on this matter, as I wanted to have the views of my constituents represented as fully as possible. I have since heard back from the Minister of State for Justice and have attached his response to this email, as I thought sharing this information on my website would be useful as many people will want to know what the Government is doing to expand the protections of the Bill to all those working in the NHS.
